The King Who Comes | Psalm 118
March 29, 2026
This Palm Sunday through Easter, participate with FFC in a three-part journey through three Psalms that mysteriously foretold the most important week in history. Written centuries before Jesus, these Hebrew songs trace the movement of Passion Week—from the arrival of a long-awaited King, to the suffering of a Redeemer, to the triumph of life beyond the grave. As we gather at our campuses across this sacred week, you’ll see how the poetry of Israel becomes the story of Christ, revealing that the cross and the empty tomb were always part of God’s plan.
Here's where the series is headed over Passion Week:
On Palm Sunday, we welcome the long-awaited King, yet see how easily He is misunderstood, revealing hearts that celebrate Him without fully surrendering to Him.
On Good Friday, we behold the suffering Savior, faithfully enduring rejection and the cross, showing the depth of His love and the cost of our redemption.
On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the risen Lord, vindicated in power and victory, proving that death is defeated and His reign is forever.
Use these readings, questions, and prompts to dive deeper into Passion Week.
