Walking with Christ in Spiritual Warfare (Part 2) – Resources

Ephesians 6:14–20

Memory Verse

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

Discussion/Reflection Questions

Explain the pieces of armor. What does it mean to “take up the armor of God”?

Which piece of the armor are you most desperate for right now?

Paul asks that they pray for him. What did he request prayer for? Think of ways you can incorporate prayers for others into your daily routine.

Paul was imprisoned (“an ambassador in chains”) when he wrote Ephesians, yet he did not ask the Ephesians to pray for his release. Instead, Paul prayed for boldness to proclaim the gospel. How does Paul’s request encourage you to “be strong” and “stand firm” in your spiritual life?
