Ephesians 3:1–6

Introduction Questions

1. Share a story of a time you were pleasantly surprised.

2. Share a time you experienced surprising unity or comradery. What caused this unity?

3. Why do you think our world is so disunified or divided? Can this be fixed?

 

Observation Questions

1.  According to Ephesians 3, how is this mystery, “A Unified Church,” being revealed? How is the word getting out?

2. In your own words, what does it mean that the gentiles are now fellow heirs, members of the same body?

3. The last 3 words of verse 6 say, “Through the Gospel.” How did the Gospel do this?

4. What about Sunday’s sermon stuck out to you or challenged you? What did you learn, love, or were you reminded of?

 

Personal Reflection Questions

1. The mystery that has been revealed is a unified church. This ought to be our goal. What can we do to see this be true at FFC?

2. As gentiles, we have the same standard with the heavenly father as Abraham, Moses, David, etc. We are recipients of the same grace and the same relationship with the father. How ought this to affect the way we live?

3. How can we, as Pastor Todd said on Sunday, “Say yes, and dive in!”

4. In light of our text this week and our sermon on Sunday, how might we respond in obedience? What do you think God is asking you to do?
