Family Devotional Guide – February 14
Travis Walker   -

Can you name three things you do every single day? Things you never forget to do. What would be on your list? Go ahead and name them!

Three things should be as common as breathing for followers of Jesus Christ. These three are: rejoicing at our salvation, praying for those who need to believe, and sharing the gospel with those who need to believe. I pray that those three actions would be “normal” for the families of First Family Church.

Paul teaches us in Ephesians 1:15-23 the normalcy of these three things. Sadly, I think we would all have to admit that these three things aren’t as normal as they ought to be. The good news is that these three things can still become normal for us! We aren’t dead yet! We can still become the type of people I believe God wants us to be. Can I encourage you today to start doing these?

Let me help you by giving you a few Prayer Prompts.

Prayer Prompts:

  1. Thank God for saving you by letting you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
  2. Pray for as many people as you can who still have yet to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
  3. Ask God to give you boldness to share your faith with those you just prayed for. Ask Him to give you an opportunity this week to share the Gospel with them.
  4. Thank God for letting you be His ambassador on earth. Ask Him to help you represent Him well throughout your life.
