Passion Week Bible Reading Guide
A lot can happen in seven days.
That was undoubtedly true for Jesus. From being celebrated by singing crowds to being crucified by an angry mob, the final week of Jesus’ earthly life was an experience of extremes.
I invite you to vicariously join him in those seven roller coaster days by reading along through the passages that describe the events of that week. You’ll find the Passion Week Bible Reading Guide below, which includes a main Scripture reading, plus additional verses for further meditation. Additionally, read this article that will provide further insight and comment about each day, and utilize our Passion Week Playlist on Spotify for music to help you remember the historical events of this week.
Admittedly, today is Monday (Day 2), so Day 1 (yesterday) will be a reading you will need to “catch up” on. But I’m confident by taking the time to think upon these events that occurred over 2,000 years ago in the life of our Savior, you will discover a deeper understanding of salvation, a greater love for the gospel, and a stronger appreciation of his church.
After all, a lot can happen in seven days. May it be so in our own spiritual growth this week.
