Introduction Questions

1. What did you look like in high school? How did you act in high school? How have you changed?

2. What comes to your mind when I say “peace”? When was the last time you experienced it?

3. What has been the most life-changing experience in your life?

 

Observation Questions

1. Parker taught us that the first command in the book of Ephesians is found in verse 11 of chapter 2. What is it, and what is its significance?

2. A word that is repeated often in this paragraph is peace. How would you define biblical peace?

3. According to verse 16, what happened on the cross? What was killed on the cross? Is that different than how you typically view the cross?

4. What about Sunday’s sermon stuck out to you or challenged you? What did you learn, love, or were you reminded of?

 

Personal Reflection Questions

1. How has the Gospel changed you? Specifically, how are you different today than you were before you met Christ?

2. How are you remembering your former exclusion?

3. How are you reciprocating your present peace?

4. In light of our text this week and our sermon on Sunday, how might we respond in obedience? What do you think God is asking you to do?
