Stan Hayek
I grew up on a cattle farm in rural Tama County. Graduating with an Agricultural Business degree from Iowa State University in 2007, I thought I’d return to the family farm, but God had other plans for me! Upon graduation, I answered the call to full time ministry working with college students in Ames. While there, I met my wife, Sarah, and married her a short nine months later! We have four beautiful daughters (Danica 10, Hannah 9, Talitha 7, Nessa 5).
While working full time, I obtained my Masters in Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Most of my ministry background includes church planting and college ministry. We are excited to be back in our home state giving leadership at First Family Church as the Next Generation Director. In my downtime you’ll likely find me playing with my girls or hunting, fishing or playing any sport that offers some friendly competition.
