We’re capping off our 2018 GO Month with the same event as most years: International Dinner! Join us tonight at 5pm for a meal featuring foods from cultures from around the world. We’ll also be baptizing at this year’s dinner, so don’t miss out!
On November 18, we’ll have another Membership Class. If you’ve been attending FFC for a short time or for years, yet haven’t become a member, what’s holding you back? Come find out what membership at FFC looks like, and officially join us in our efforts to make devoted disciples of Christ who celebrate, grow and serve. Sign up and learn more at firstfamily.church/membership or by speaking with a pastor at the front.
With our main east entrance renovations completed, the library is now back up and running! Come check out the new setup. The library will be open each Sunday between services and after second service.
We are so thankful for all of you that faithfully and sacrificially give toward what God is doing here at First Family. Coming up on November 18th is our annual Harvest Offering. As in years past, our goal this year is $75,000. From this offering, we will designate $50,000 to help make up the financial shortfall we mentioned last month, with the remaining designated to savings. Please begin praying about what God would have you give toward this special offering!
Parents of 6th-8th graders, don’t let your middle schooler miss our biggest event of the year coming up next month: Blitz! Registration forms and waivers are upstairs outside the youth room. Cost is $50. Contact Pastor Travis Walker if you have any questions.
Are you a believer in Christ who has yet to take the step of being baptized? This public identification with Christ is the first big step of obedience for every believer. We’ll be baptizing at our International Dinner at the end of the month! To learn more and sign up, visit firstfamily.church/baptism or speak with one of the pastors at the front after the service.
