This will be a great time of being together as a church family and reaching out to our community for a night of fun! We’ll provide a full meal, activities for all ages, and you’ll also be able to sign up for fall ministries such as AWANA and small groups.
Leader and participant registration will open on August 1st! Awana is a great opportunity for discipleship. If you are an adult or high school youth that is interested in pouring into our preschool and elementary age kids on a weekly basis, we’d love to have you join us! Contact Becky Doubleday with any questions you may have.
While the east entrance renovation is underway, the library will be closed. We will open it back up as soon as possible once renovations are complete!
Mark your calendars, ladies! October 5–6 will be an amazing time of gospel truth, community building, and worship. The speaker for the conference is Jen Wilkin. God has truly gifted Jen with a deep understanding of God, and you will be blessed by her words. ONE will take place at Cornerstone in Ames. The cost is $55 a person. If you’re interested, please email for the code to register!
Coming up September 7–8, Precept Ministries will be sending a team to do a workshop at FFC on how to do inductive Bible study. There will be a free essentials training on Friday night September 7, then a full day on Saturday the 8th on how to study a book of the New Testament for $35. Sign up and learn more at firstfamily.church/precept-workshop.
