FFC Kids exists to train and encourage children in the gospel, build a firm foundation in Christ, and grow in God’s character. As the next generation of leaders in the church, we want to assist parents and family members by providing a biblical education, a caring and positive environment, and an example of service to our children in order to point their lives to Christ. We encourage the teachers to build relationships with the children in their classes and get to know them and their families. If you have any questions about our kids ministry, contact Children's Director Becky Doubleday.
If you are new to our church, please visit the I’m New page for general information about our church and how you can feel at home from the start! We believe that security and safety are paramount for having a successful children’s ministry. We do regular background checks on all church staff, elders, deacons, and all volunteers who work with minors. Prior to volunteering in any of our rooms, our helpers will undergo a background check and visit with one of our children’s ministry staff.
In addition to this, many of our key leaders in our children’s, youth, and adult ministries are CPR and First Aid certified, and we carefully observe allergy policies.
Finally, we have a state of the art check-in system and trained volunteers that ensure that only approved parents or guardians can pick up children after services. You can rest assured that your children will be safe as they learn more about God and develop their faith.
In order to help the ministry to our children flourish and succeed, we rely on parents, youth and other church members to regularly assist in the children’s ministry. By serving in our ministry, you will be serving the Lord, impacting the lives of our families, investing in the future, and being a great example to the children and other adults at First Family Church.
We'd love to help!
