Global Outreach Week

Each year, First Family sets aside a special time to provide extra focus on the global mission of the church. Beginning October 20th, we’ll have a special two-week sermon series on missions called "The Matter of Y", a brand-new missions 5K race (October 26), and our famous International Dinner (October 27). We’ll also have a two-week class on October 20th and 27th about how to communicate with our partners in closed countries. See more details about each event below!

Sermon Series: The Matter of Y

GO Week 2019 will feature a special two-week mini-series on October 20th and 27th that will center on digging deeper into God's passion for the nations and answering the "why" question behind the "what" and the "how." Join FFC in trumpeting the root reasons God's global glory is our supreme motivation and highest exaltation.

GO 5K

Join us for our GO 5K on October 26th at 9am at Crestbruck Park! Less than 1% of the American church’s giving goes towards missions work in the 10/40 windows where the gospel is needed the most. We want to do something about that. We’re hosting a Global Outreach 5K, where 100% of the money raised will go right to missions work in the 10/40 window. Not a runner? We’ll have an online store coming soon with two awesome t-shirt options for you to buy, where the proceeds also support the cause. You can also give a direct donation.

International Dinner

Our International Dinner on October 27th at 5pm is an annual favorite of our people! Each Small Group picks a country and prepares dishes from that country. The result is a fun night of trying new foods from dozens of countries, and a great time of fellowship with our church family. Food registration coming soon!

"How to Communicate to Partners in a Closed Country" Class

Pug Johnson will lead a class for anyone interested in being able to safely and confidently communicate with our partners serving the Lord in closed countries. The class will take place in Student Center Room 203 at 10:30am on October 20 and 27.
