Family Camp

We’re excited to again be heading up to Hidden Acres for FFC Family Camp 2025! It’s a fun, relaxing weekend with your family. There’s also many opportunities for you to meet new people and get to know your church family better. Families from FFC are invited to join us. We will all come together Sunday morning to celebrate the gospel. Other than a few optional activities, most of the weekend is free time to enjoy with your family or to create opportunities to interact with other families.
Lodging

Cost includes lodging for 2 nights, 5 meals and the use of camp facilities (pool, lake, gym, campfire, etc). Check-in is after 4:00pm. On Sunday, you may remain on the grounds until 1pm. All belongings must be out of Inn rooms by 9:00am.

Families have an option to stay at camp an extra night.

Giant Swing & Zipline
**Please only sign up for one per person as we have limited spots and a limited time frame. This allows more people to participate. You can select the waitlist for the 2nd option and I will notify you if we have spots.
Zipline – 50-225lb weight limits
Zipline & Swing – Children age 5 and up generally fit into the smallest harness and can participate.
Trail & Lead Me Rides
Lead Me Rides are for children 9 years and under and must be accompanied by an adult to lead them around the arena a couple times. Cost is $5 per child.
Trail rides are a 45 minute guided trail ride through the timber and is available for ages 10 and up. Trail rides are $25.
Tentative Schedule
Friday: Check-in, dinner, wagon ride, free time
Saturday: Meals, prayer tree walk, time at the lake or pool, zip line & swing, horse rides, frog race, s’mores, games, etc.
Sunday: Breakfast, worship service, free time before heading home
*Each night adults usually bring snacks to share and play games in the Inn meeting room. We will also have some Bingo games, craft activities, and other fun things for kids and parents during the day.
Registration and Payment
Registration must be completed by July 24 with payment due by July 27. You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. You may drop off your cash or check made out to First Family Church at the Ankeny church office during normal business hours (Monday-Thursday 8am-3pm). You may also leave your payment in a CLEARLY marked envelope in an offering box. Please identify Family Camp payment in the memo line of your check.
Cancellations & Changes: Registrations canceled before July 24 will receive a refund. Any registrations canceled after July 24 are not guaranteed a refund. Requests for changes to your registration after July 24 are not guaranteed.
