Fall Prayer Gathering
October 13, 2021 6:00 - 7:00pm
Join us for a special fall prayer gathering, featuring prayer stations–and s’mores! This event is for all ages. The FFC elders will also be available in the Worship Center for anyone who would like to be prayed over.
4 Stations
1. Adoration
2. Confession
3. Thanksgiving
4. Supplication
Adoration – chocolate bar
Adoration is profound love or regard. You are going to spend time adoring God. You will pick a candy bar. Each candy bar has a name of God and Bible verse on it. Look up the Bible verse and read it together. Take a moment to pray and praise God for being who He is.
Confession – marshmallow
Confess means to tell something. Sin is anything we think, say or do that is displeasing to God. The Bible says if we confess our sins to God, He will hear us and forgive us. At this station you will take a moment and think of something you may have done wrong this week. Write down your sin on a paper marshmallow. Then take a moment to pray and ask God to forgive you of that sin. After you have prayed throw your marshmallow into the fire. Once God has forgiven that sin, it is gone, just like your paper marshmallow after you threw it into the fire.
Thanksgiving – marshmallow
We have many things to be thankful for. Think of some things you are thankful for and write at least one of those things on the marshmallow cutout. Take a moment to pray and thank God for all your blessings. Drop your marshmallow into the bucket of thanks. We can watch our blessings pile up in the jar.
Supplication – graham crackers
Supplication means requests. We can take any of our requests to God. He hears our prayers. He knows what we need, and He gives to us according to His great plan for us. You will pick out a paper graham cracker and write out your prayer request. Then take a moment and pray about your request. Then place your paper in the cracker jar.
