CC Fast and Pray Retreat

Fasting is a way that we deny ourselves of our physical needs to remind us of our need for God. We need God in every moment of our day to sustain us by His power, and fasting is a tangible way we remind ourselves of our dependence upon the Lord.

Our Fast and Pray Retreat is a 24-hour event from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon focused on refreshing you spiritually and renewing your hunger and thirst for more of Jesus.

Expectations

We will be at Scott Cierzan’s ranch in Guthrie Center, Iowa. We will plan to leave First Family Church NO LATER than 3:00pm on Friday. We are carpooling from the church to the ranch.

Our retreat is structured by three different blocks of time: Time with God, team time, and free time. You will spend time alone with God in His creation, and talk as a team what you learned from your time with God, what you talked to God about, and how He has moved in your heart through your sessions along. You will also have free time to have fun and bond at the end of Friday night and into Saturday as we break out fast together! Cost

The cost of the retreat is $15. This cost covers the our food on Saturday afternoon as we will break our fast together!
