Learn more about our ministries below:
Kids
FFC Kids exists to train and encourage children in the gospel, build a firm foundation in Christ, and grow in God’s character. As the next generation of leaders in the church, we want to assist parents and family members by providing a biblical education, a caring and positive environment, and an example of service to our children in order to point their lives to Christ. We encourage the teachers to build relationships with the children in their classes and get to know them and their families.
Youth
FFC Youth is the student ministry of First Family Church. We minister to students in 6–12th grade. Our desire is to be a place where students are taught the gospel, encouraged to live in community, and given opportunities to be involved in mission. We strive to do this through a variety of environments. Below is the list of environments that we offer. We would love for you or your children to get involved in our youth ministry.
Campus Collective
Campus Collective is the college ministry of First Family Church. We seek to minister to all college-aged students with a special emphasis on DMACC. Our desire is to be a place where students grow as devoted followers of Jesus who celebrate, grow, and serve for the glory of God. We strive to do this through weekly worship, student-led small groups, and a variety of outreach activities.
Small Groups
Here at First Family, Small Groups are the hub of our ministry. They’re where the real ministry of the church takes place as we study God’s Word while supporting and sharing our lives with one another. We believe that meeting together on a regular basis is time well spent. Truly, it’s where the “family” in First Family Church really comes through.
Women
We believe that we are called as women to follow the principles set forth in Titus 2:3–5. To train and teach women in the truth’s of God’s Word, to come alongside and encourage women in their daily lives and their God-ordained roles, and to minister to the needs of others and cultivate a growing love for God. We want a culture that encourages women to live reverently, to grow and be challenged, and to support one another through prayer and service.
Men
It is our desire that the men of First Family look a lot like what is described in 1 Corinthians 16:13–14: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. De everything in love.” We want men who love Jesus, love their families, and live courageously for Jesus.
Missions
At First Family, we embrace the mission left to us by Jesus by 1) planting churches 2) partnering with others, and 3) powerfully witnessing as individuals. These three thrusts comprise the bulk of our outreach strategy.
Marriage Mentors
As a picture of the gospel, marriage is the most important human relationship. But that doesn’t make it easy! Wherever you’re at in your marriage, whether it be a point of crisis, or if you just need some help, we want to help. Our Marriage Mentors ministry’s aim is to provide a copyable biblical marriage model for marriages in need, so they can build strong foundations, achieve restoration, and strengthen the relationship for the purpose of reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church.
Deaf Ministry
We have an active Deaf community at FFC that includes weekly ASL interpreting and a Deaf-led Small Group.
