Sermon Text

“In view of this, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling, and by his power fulfill your every desire to do good and your work produced by faith, so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified by you, and you by him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Take-Home Truth

Faithful, fruitful endurance is a sure evidence God has saved you and, in the end, will save you. So pray for increasing endurance.

3. What good desires or intentions has God placed in my heart, and how am I seeking His help to carry them out?

4. Is my life bringing glory to Jesus, not just in what I do but in how I do it?

5. How aware am I of God’s grace working in and through my life each day?

“Therefore, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.”
