Because they’re always available online, we don’t mail giving statements in January. So to find your records, go to ffclife.ccbchurch.com and log in to your account. Find your name on the right side of the screen to go to your profile. Once there, the Financial tab will be where you’ll find your giving history and printable statements. Also, the deadline for receiving offerings online for the 2017 tax year will be December 31. Checks or cash must be received by January 2 and need to be dated for 2017. If you have questions, please contact Jen Coleman, or call the church office
Last week during our Harvest Offering, we brought in $109,275 (as of Tuesday). Praise the Lord! After meeting our weekly need of $23,076.92, the remaining $86,198.08 will go towards replenishing our savings and adding an east entrance to our building. Thank you for giving sacrificially!
On November 19th, after meeting our initial general fund budget need, our Elders have designated the remaining portion of our Harvest Offering to top off any savings deficiencies and begin setting aside funds for the East Entrance/Cafe Remodel Project. Our goal for this offering is $100,000. If we reach this goal, we should be able to begin the East Entrance Project in early 2018 and, Lord willing, complete the project with funds from our Spring Offering. Please begin praying about how you will give towards these goals!
It’s time to start packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child! Pick up your box at Connect Central today and return your filled boxes November 12–20. No candy or toothpaste are allowed this year. Nick and Julie Maile help with Zion Lutheran’s refugee ministries in Des Moines. They are collecting items for winter/Christmas, and could use your help! They can use LEGO sets (in the $20 range) and cozy plush blankets for teen girls ($15 range). Winter coats, gloves and hats are always welcome this time of year as well! You can drop any donations off in the tub in the Cafe.

Sunday, May 7th, is our annual Vision Offering, where FFCers give above and beyond their regular tithes and offerings. This year, the offering will go toward replenishing our savings after the Student Center construction, as well as towards future mobilization efforts. Visit firstfamily.church/vision-offering to give or learn more.
