Israel's biblical history is more than military conquest in chronological sequence. It is messianic prophecy in narrative form. This is especially and beatifully seen in the books of 1-2 Samuel, 1-2 Kings, and 1-2 Chronicles. Prepare to enjoy the adventure of the Old Testament in our 2017 series, "The kings and the King," and appreciate anew the anticipation of Christ woven throughout each of these historical books.
We won’t be mailing giving statements in January, so to find your giving statement, go to ffclife. ccbchurch.com and login to your account. Find your name on the right side of the screen to go to your profile. Once there, the Financial tab will be where you’ll find your giving history and printable statements. Also, the deadline for receiving offerings online for the 2016 tax year will be December 31. Checks or cash must be received by January 3 and need to be dated for the appropriate year. If you have questions, please contact Jen Coleman, or call the church office.
On January 1st, a couple things will be happening that are different from a usual Sunday at FFC. First, we’ll be having a Family Service that day, where all elementary kids will be staying in the main service with parents. Second, due to the holiday that day, we’ll just be having just one service at 10:30am. Join us!
Re:Member is a special yearly event where the people of FFC gather together as the local body of Christ. We share a meal together, hear updates and information about what’s coming up in 2017 at FFC, and pray together as believers. There will also be a program for elementary and childcare provided birth through preschool.
This year, ReMember will be on January 4th. The meal time will be from 5-6pm, and you can drop in anytime during that time to get a free meal. At 6:15pm, the program will begin, and we’ll hear from Pastor Todd some other church leaders about different aspects of our ministries locally and abroad. Finally, we’ll take time to pray for each other and for our ministries.
This is an awesome event that you won’t want to miss! Plan on joining us on January 4th at 5pm!
