Daddy Daughter Dance

February 9 | Friday 6pm | Youth Room 

Dads, we invite you to bring your daughter(s) to a night of fun together! There will be crafts, games, snacks, pictures, and of course, dancing. This will be a night you won’t forget! Find out more and sign up at firstfamily.church/daddy-daughter-dance

Principles & Practices for Parenting Course

If you’re a parent seeking to grow in raising your children up in the Lord, this course is for you. It’s an 8-week course, broken up into four 2-week, age appropriate sections (0-2, 3-5, 6-11, 12-18), and taught by Todd and Julie Stiles. The first section (0-2) begins February 7. Each age section is its own course, so you only need to sign up for the age(s) that pertains to you. To learn more and sign up, visit firstfamily.church/parenting-course

Because they’re always available online, we don’t mail giving statements in January. To find your records, go to ffclife.ccbchurch.com and log in to your account. Find your name on the right side of the screen to go to your profile. Once there, the Financial tab will be where you’ll find your giving history and printable statements. If you have questions, please contact Jen Coleman, or call the church office. 

Frostbite Middle School Retreat

Our annual middle school winter retreat is coming up next month! February 16–18th, our middle schoolers will head up to Clear Lake, IA for fun, food, preaching, and time with friends. Registration information is available in the youth room.

Evangelism Symposium

Perspectives 2017 Class

Perspectives is a class for believers from all walks of life, to help you live a kingdom-focused life. A new class is starting January 14th, and meets on Sunday nights from 5–8pm at Walnut Creek Church Downtown. To learn more and sign up, visit perspectives.org

Harvest Offering Totals

Last week during our Harvest Offering, we brought in $109,275 (as of Tuesday). Praise the Lord! After meeting our weekly need of $23,076.92, the remaining $86,198.08 will go towards replenishing our savings and adding an east entrance to our building. Thank you for giving sacrificially!

Thanksgiving Break

The church offices will be closed this Wednesday and Thursday for Thanksgiving break. They will be open again on Monday, November 27th, at 9am.

Ministries Christmas Break

Our fall ministries will be wrapping up as Christmas break quickly approaches! The last night of AWANA for the fall is Wednesday, November 29th. The last night of high school small groups is December 10th, and the last night of middle school is December 13th.
