Awana

AWANA at First Family

We offer the awesome AWANA program for preschool and elementary aged children on Wednesday nights during the school year! We meet from 6–7:30pm. Our AWANA program is a hybrid program. We utilize the curriculum for small group and memorization. Then we add in our own games, activities, large group teaching and worship. There is a fee and registration required to join our AWANA program for the year.

The Preschool portion of this program is called Cubbies, and will give your preschooler a chance to play fun games, memorize Bible verses, make crafts, and develop relationships with other preschoolers! Children must be at least 3 years old by September 15th and be potty trained to participate in our Cubbies program.

The elementary children are divided into Sparks (kindergarten – 2nd grade) and T&T (3rd–5th grade). Children memorize and recite Bible verses, and engage in worship, small group, and teaching time. They also have opportunities to participate in team games, activities, and crafts.

Preschool and elementary come together during the evening to worship God in song. We enjoy a mix of live worship and some of our favorite videos. Our time together is designed to celebrate and glorify God!

All children can be picked up at 7:30pm in their assigned areas. Please make sure you have your pick-up tag ready to show teachers.

Contact our Children’s Director Becky Doubleday if you have any questions. You can register your child and/or to volunteer below!
