Today, we begin our 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting, with the specific theme of personal revival as our focus. You’ll receive a simple jumpstart prayer each day in your inbox to nudge you towards both prayer and fasting in these 40 days. To aid you in preparing for this emphasis, please take a minute and read through our FAQs at firstfamily. church/40-days. There, you’ll also find a number of Scriptures, guidelines, and tips for praying and fasting that will help you throughout our church-wide journey.
We have more of the gray FFC t-shirts in stock, as well as two new colors: indigo and black. Visit Connect Central in the Cafe between Sunday services to buy a shirt (or shirts).
Join other women for Return in the Youth Room on Saturday, November 4th from 9am–2:30pm! There will be worship, teaching, praying, breakout sessions, and small groups. You will hear from a variety of women, and will have the opportunity to grow closer to many others. Lunch will be served. Please sign up at firstfamily.church/women, or on our FFC Connect app!
The week of October 22nd, we’ll be placing a special emphasis on missions. We’ll be commissioning some of our own people for international mission work, hearing from this year ’s missions trips, hosting an international dinner, and more. Pick up a card from the ushers to get all the details on events.
If you completed the training required to serve in distaster relief, here is the current need: Feeding Team in Liberty, TX (Oct. 21–Nov. 3; Nov. 1–Nov. 14; Nov. 12–Nov. 24).
